TERMS & CONDITIONS
We would hope that you enjoy your stay in Bakewell, and treat it as you would anywhere else with dignity & respect.
We do have a few rules if you would like to read them, but generally if you treat the property and neighbourhood with the general respect it deserves, then that is all we ask. Enjoy your stay and we hope to see you again.
Who can stay in Binki's Bolthole:
To enable us to continue to provide this lovely bolthole for the benefit of you and others please respect the following rules:
· 4 guests maximum – bookings only accepted from couples/families -.not from groups or single young people
· No unregistered guests allowed
· Check-in after 15:00pm – however guests are most welcome to park on the private drive 2 hours earlier and walk into Bakewell
· Checkout before 10:00am – all keys must be returned, any replacements needed will be charged to you.
General Use:
To enable us to continue to provide this lovely bolthole for the benefit of you and others please respect the following rules:
· This property is in a beautiful, quiet residential area, guests are not permitted to hold parties/ noisy gatherings and are expected to respect others in the vicinity. If we were to receive complaints as regards this issue, we retain the right to request the guests to leave and not return.
· The garden is a lovely, peaceful place to enjoy, please retain this peaceful environment by respecting others in the vicinity.
· Quiet times are essentially 10.30pm to 8.00am
· This is a non-smoking property, which includes vaping. A bin is provided for outside smoking. All cigarette butts etc are to be placed in the bin.
· No vaping inside house
· No illegal substances inside or outside.
· No candles
· Please use barbecue area with absolute care and attention. Ensuring any utensils are thoroughly cleaned, and barbecue coal/remnants are discarded of safely in bin provided
· The log burner should be cleared of ash after each fire has extinguished. Do not use the hoover for this exercise. A dustpan & brush will suffice.
· Please take care of the furnishings as you would your own.
· Please do not re-arrange the furniture.
Other:
· Please remove any muddy/wet boots/coats before entering.
· Dogs are welcome, once agreed by host. Depending on size/breed – it is essential to read conditions as regards your beautiful dog on booking.
· Guests are required to bring their own travel cot/dog bed
On leaving:
· Please switch off the appliances & lighting when leaving the home. This does not include the fridge freezer or heating. Heating should be turned down to the minimum temperature.
· Guests are kindly asked to place all recycling and rubbish in bin liners outside of the property in the bins provided.
· Please remove all bedding before departure and place in washing machine.
· Please place used towels in the shower.
· Please load the dishwasher with used crockery etc.
· Please hoover & sweep the floors.
· Place all keys in the lock box. Please ensure all keys are returned. Please take care of the furnishings. You have to pay for damages.
General Conditions:
· Guests are kindly asked to report breakages/damage within/to the property or garden immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. If there has been any damage or breakages during your stay report them promptly, especially before checkout. The property will be inspected at the end of the holiday and you may be charged for any loss or damage.
· Please report any breakages/damage immediately if it is found on your arrival.
· Any problem or complaint which the guest may have concerned their holiday must be immediately reported directly to the host/our representatives and we will endeavour to put matters right. Any complaints not reported to the host/our representatives at the time and only reported after the client has returned from holiday will not be considered by the proprietor.
· We reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking (or their guests) may impair the enjoyment, comfort, health of others.
Deposits:
· 50% Deposit at time of booking
· Balance payable 3 months before start date
· 100% if booking is within 3 months of start date
Cancellation Policy:
· Full refund if you formally cancel within 24 Hours of booking
· 50% refund if you formally cancel more than 6 weeks of the start date
· 25% refund if you formally cancel within 6 weeks and 24 hours of your holiday start date
Our Canine Friends:
We want you and your best friend to have the best time, and want you to return for another Binki Bolthole break. To enable us to provide this opportunity to you and others please adhere to the following rules:
· Dogs are allowed with prior agreement, not all breeds and ages accepted.
· Under no circumstances should a dog be left in this property alone.
· Your doggy can chill on the sofa, throw provided or feel free to bring their favourite with them.
· No dogs in bedroom or on beds, they are only a footstep away in the lovely lounge.
· Please don’t allow your dog to jump, scratch, chew the contents of this home.
· Please ensure your best friend doesn’t become a nuisance in the garden as regards neighbouring properties. i.e., barking, growling jumping the fence.
· Cleaning up after your dog in both the house and garden is essential, resulting in charges if not carried out.
· Please ensure pet hair is swept and placed in a bag in the general rubbish bin
